Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture from an accredited program (or similar industry affiliated program)

• 3+ years of professional experience

• Firm Expectations:

  • Hold supplemental credentials to further firm expertise (NCARB, RA, AIA, LEED AP, WELL AP, etc)

  • Implement the brand and vision of success into the culture of the general staff by leading by example

  • Servant leadership is critical at all levels, but especially as link between senior leadership and the younger staff

  • Fully committed to the decision made by the Principals.

  • Ability to grow market share within Ampere for interior design services.

  • Ability to grow, lead, and develop a dedicated interior design team.

• Software Skills; High proficiency in:

  • Revit

  • Adobe Creative Suite

  • Microsoft Office

  • Bluebeam

  • Rendering Software (Lumion, Enscape, D5, Twinmotion, or equivalent)

• Technical Skills:

  • Deep understanding of materiality, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

  • Understanding of building codes, ADA, construction methods, and documentation standards

  • Proficiency with 3D modeling, rendering, and presentation graphics.

  • Proven experience managing all phases of architectural projects (SD through CA)

  • Experience with construction documentation and administration

• Design Skills:

  • Strong conceptual design and problem-solving abilities across a range of project types

  • Ability to incorporate hospitality design within numerous project types.

  • Experience with space planning, materials research, and aesthetic detailing

  • Ability to work within branding and client vision constraints

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control

  • Execution of design intent through documentation and construction while maintaining budget

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously

  • Business development acumen, including the ability to attract and retain clients

  • Strong leadership and team coordination

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Comfortable working in multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly through sketches, renderings, and verbal presentation.

  • Presenting to clients, stakeholders, or review boards is a plus
